Winter Wonderland

Wow... it's been a while since I posted last. As Kermit likes to say "Time's fun when you're having flies."

So, I received confirmation last week about my relocation to Arizona. I flew to Syracuse to visit Grandpa and landed in the middle of a snowstorm. Gotta love lake-effect snow... OR NOT!

Immediately after deplaning, I resigned myself to feeling cold for the duration of the visit. It was 16 degrees and dropping!!! The visibility was so bad that we had to hang out at Denny's for a few hours until it stopped snowing and the plows cleared the roads. We didn't get home until 2:30am.

The AZ heat has thinned my blood considerably. Toward the end of the trip, the weather improved and was pushing 40 degrees, but I continued to shiver and pile on the layers, so we had lots of fun indoors. We put up the Christmas tree and hung lights on the house.

I'm so glad I was able to visit and catch up with family and friends!

Nice job! Sure should help Grandpa's Christmas spirit!

Thanks! We had a lot of fun doing it. We figured out a way to hang all the lights so that they plugged in to each other and ended at an easily-accessible outlet. One step turns on all the window lights.
